WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Rep. Mike Bost (IL-12) today announced a $1.9 million Health and Human Services grant for medical care in Franklin County. The grant, awarded to the Christopher Greater Area Rural Health Planning Corporation, will help to improve access to treatments and support operation costs and staffing.
“Many rural communities in Southern Illinois are challenged to provide the full range of health care services to local residents," said Bost. "The people of Franklin County will be well-served with this important grant funding, helping expand access to care for patients and supporting the wonderful medical professionals who treat them."
