Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Mike Bost (IL-12) issued the following statement on Constitution Day, the day we celebrate the signing of the U.S. Constitution on September 17, 1787:

“On this day, we celebrate the U.S. Constitution, the fundamental framework of freedom.  I’m reminded as a grandparent of the responsibility to instill in my 10 grandchildren the importance of one of the greatest documents ever written and the direct impact it has on their lives 228 years later.  I would encourage you to do the same with your family as we celebrate this consequential day in American history.”
