Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Mike Bost (IL-12) was presented with the “Spirit of Enterprise” award for his pro-jobs voting record in Congress.  Rep. Bost received a 100 percent rating from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for his first year voting record in Congress.

“Small businesses are the lifeblood of our economy in Southern Illinois,” said Rep. Bost.  “As a small business owner myself, I will continue to fight for our job creators and the hardworking men and women they employ.  We still have too many people still looking for work due to job-killing taxes and burdensome regulations which halt business expansion and entrepreneurship.  It’s time for Washington to get out of the way so Main Streets across America can create good jobs from the ground up.”

The “Spirit of Enterprise” Award is presented annually to Members of Congress who are strong supporters of free enterprise in America by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
