Washington, D.C.—Rep. Mike Bost (IL-12) was joined by Chairman Steve Chabot (R-OH) of the Small Business Committee to talk with Southern Illinois business owners, manufacturers and employees about job growth in the 12th District.
“I was honored that Chairman Chabot accepted my invitation to join me in Southern Illinois so he could have a better understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing our small businesses and their hard working employees,” said Rep. Bost. “I am working hard to connect the people with their government, and there’s no better way to do so than inviting decision makers to come here and listen to local residents directly.”
Rep. Bost and Chairman Chabot conducted a manufacturer’s roundtable with business owners and members of the Greater Belleville Chamber of Commerce at their headquarters in Belleville early Tuesday. Shortly after, they toured Roland Machinery in Carterville.
