Washington, D.C. — Today, Rep. Mike Bost issued the following the publication of the House Select Committee’s report on the Benghazi, which included testimony from 81 new witnesses and uncovered 75,000 new documents providing the most detailed account of the 2012 terrorist attack that killed four Americans:

“The American people deserve a full and complete accounting of the facts regarding the terrorist attacks that took the lives of Ambassador Chris Stevens and three American security personnel in Benghazi, Libya.  Regrettably, the Obama Administration has spent the last four years dodging Congress about what they knew and when they knew it.  This national security crisis was compounded by the Administration’s failure to take responsibility for intelligence failures that made the attack possible in the first place.  I commend Chairman Gowdy and the House Select Committee for its dogged commitment to finding the truth about this dark day in our nation’s history.”
