O’Fallon, IL – U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) released the following statement after participating in a roundtable with local restaurant owners at Bella Milano, hosted by the Illinois Restaurant Association and the National Restaurant Association. Illinois’ 12th Congressional District is home to 1,401 eating and drinking establishments, employing more than 22,700 people throughout the District.
“I am pleased to join the Illinois Restaurant Association, the National Restaurant Association, and restaurant owners from Southern Illinois to discuss issues important to these small businesses. Our local businesses owners are the heart of our community,” said Rep. Bost
“These roundtables allow me the opportunity to directly listen to their concerns and get feedback as to what we can be doing better in Washington to assist their businesses. We need government programs that work for families, small business owners, and individuals throughout our community.”
